TMC Italia is looking for a Business Analyst based in Milan (Italy) to work on the design of a new Data Integration Platform. The activity will be carried on in an international context, directly interfacing stakeholders. Responsibilities will include:
1. Gather and document the business requirements for a new data integration platform
2. Drive requirements elicitation ensuring alignment with delivery of business value; solution architecture; solution design.
3. Ability to think about business processes outside of the technology context.
4. Translate business requirements into clear functional requirements producing a Business Requirement Specification document (BRS) and a System Requirements Specification (SRS) document
5. Define data quality KPI’s for the new platform
6. Maintain, expand and document the Conceptual Information Model (CIM)
7. Build a logical data model and link it to the CIM
8. Design and document the data flows involved in the development of the integration platform
9. Use of modelling practices to analyze requirement and create suggestions for improvements and changes
10. Understanding of functional analysis and UI mock-ups
11. Drafting of written documentation to support work, reporting on findings and presentation to stakeholders when necessary
12. Daily relationship and management of different stakeholders
13. UAT definition and business support on test execution.

14. Mandatory a Master’s Degree in technical disciplines
15. Mandatory experience in the role
16. Exceptional analytical, problem solving and conceptual thinking skills
17. Excellent documentation skills
18. Experience in creating user stories and reports
19. Experience on requirements engineering and process modeling using UML
20. Understanding of functional analysis and UI mock-ups
21. Understanding of usability principles
22. Knowledge of business analysis methodologies (i.e. BABOK)
23. Experience on facilitating workshops and giving trainings to business audiences
24. Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English
25. Availability for occasional international business trips across Europe
