At SimCorp we support some of the biggest financial institutions by streamlining investments, accounting, and operations. We are currently looking for a highly motivated IT consultant to support our Configuration Deployment Service (CDS) team.
What You Will Be Responsible For
* Supporting our CDS team to be efficient and accountable for service delivery across different time zones.
* Engaging in configuration deployments and contributing to service deliveries and client meetings.
* Planning and preparation of deployment windows together with the client and the team.
* Creating configuration packages based on client definition and following up on deployments.
* Documentation and reporting in line with the defined service procedures.
* Collaborating with the Service Owners and client stakeholders.
* Advise on process improvements based on lessons learned from daily operation.
* Play an active part in our global Configuration Deployment Service network.
What We Value
* Master’s degree in Computer Science, Natural Science, Economics or a similar qualification.
* Experience configuring and deploying components of complex standard software applications in the financial sector or financial services industry.
* Technical affinity, eagerness to engage and learn new technical content.
* Experience in a Windows Server environment and basic knowledge of cloud technology.
* Interest in or basic knowledge of processes in the investment industry.
* Service‑mindfulness, positive mindset, and experience with ITIL framework.
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and have a considerable impact on results and solutions.
* Proficient analytical skills and a solution and result oriented attitude.
* Able to prioritize tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
* Fluent in English (oral and written).
