Senior Surveyor and Site Quality RepresentativeThe Senior Inspector / Site Quality Representative is responsible for coordinating, executing, and documenting inspections during the fabrication of offshore converter platform components. The role ensures compliance with relevant international standards, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and project specifications while supporting quality assurance, safety, and efficient interdisciplinary collaboration at the supplier site.Scope of work
Coordinate daily inspections for the local inspection team in line with the Notice of Inspection (NOI).Manage fabrication surveys, including planning and necessary adjustments.Attend inspections and conduct surveillance activities according to the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and NOI, ensuring the required surveillance share (≥20%) is met and increased as needed.Review Inspection and Test Plans, technical statements, inspection documentation, and as-built documentation.Participate in quality meetings and contribute to technical discussions.Follow up on open findings, nonconformities, and support closure activities.Provide weekly progress reports covering production status, inspection outcomes, and key findings.Submit weekly production process reportsCommunicate HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) observations to the responsible SHE/HSE Inspector when relevant.Ensure safe execution of all inspection activities and monitor safety conditions on supplier premises.Report safety observations and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment for the inspection team.Document every executed inspection according to the corresponding ITP point using the reporting systemPrepare weekly inspection reports for all inspections performed personally, separated by discipline.Follow up on findings and nonconformities in collaboration with the site inspectors until closure.Deliver a weekly quality status and progress report inspections conducted, outstanding and closed findings, progress, safety observations.
Qualifications
Strong familiarity with international standards applicable to the manufacturing of large offshore constructions within the relevant discipline structural, experience in coating discipline is beneficial.Minimum 5 years of project experience in a comparable inspection, QA/QC, or fabrication‐related function.Experience working on large offshore construction projects.Strong ability to work within a multidisciplinary, international team and maintain efficient communication with project management and main site teams.Proficient in English and the local language.Ability to quickly familiarize oneself with other technical disciplines at a high level.
