Our Group Function Legal Affairs and Compliance team (GFLA) in EMEA — one of four Market Areas within Ericsson — delivers strategic support across commercial, regulatory, employment, and governance matters, empowering market achievements and ensuring regional compliance. The team works closely with regional leadership to navigate legal challenges and advance business objectives. Responsibilities As the Head of Legal, oversee all legal matters within the assigned Territory across a spectrum of complex commercial, corporate, regulatory, data protection, competition, intellectual property, sanctions/trade control issues and dispute resolution. Lead and/or provide senior partnership to legal and business teams across high-value and complex customer sale and sourcing contracts, strategic partnerships, corporate transactions/M&A activity, corporate governance and advisory matters and R&D activity. Lead a team of twelve attorneys; report to the Head of Legal EMEA; participate as a member of the EMEA Legal Leadership Team and the Leadership Team for CU South Europe & Eurasia. What you'll bring / Qualifications Top-Tier Legal Acumen: At least 15 years of experience in a corporate in-house setting or at a leading law firm, with broad international experience. Experience in tech/telecommunications is a plus. Strategic Mindset: Strong business acumen and the ability to think critically, analyze complex situations, and provide sound legal advice that supports business objectives. Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Able to build trust and rapport with stakeholders at all levels and navigate challenging conversations. A Growth Mindset: Proactive, eager to learn and contribute to the evolution of Ericsson's legal function.
