This role could be based at either of our head office locations in Milan or Turin. /ph3About the Role /h3pThis role operates independently without direct reports and will take responsibility for centralizing the best sources for our private label business and manage supplier relationships and commercial terms, as well as ensuring that all tendering and procurement process adhere to relevant legislation. /ppThis role will source potential new suppliers and products in various regions and conduct effective negotiations of terms and conditions for new and existing suppliers, working closely with our own brand procurement, quality and supply chain functions. /ph3Key responsibilities /h3ulliWorking with the European category lead to manage the private label (PL) supplier range /liliNegotiating terms and conditions with PL suppliers, taking a total value of ownership (TVO) approach /liliIdentifying new products and suppliers via research and trade events and sourcing potential suppliers in cost-effective countries, coordinating with procurement to gain approval /liliSourcing potential suppliers in cost-effective countries and coordinating with the procurement function to gain supplier approval /liliLaunching central tenders and ensuring optimal TVO by conducting effective negotiation of TCs in coordination with our quality and supply chain teams /liliNegotiating prices and contracts with existing suppliers and creating contract documents /liliMonitoring commodities such as currency and raw material fluctuations in the local market and applying adjustments to supplier commercials /liliCreating estimates and forecasts and identifying cost reduction strategies /li /ulh3Skills and Experience needed /h3ulliMinimum of 5 years’ experience within the automotive industry /liliExperience working within a pan-European function /liliKnowledge and experience in sourcing from lower cost regions /liliTeam player with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to prioritize effectively /liliFluency in English with another European language advantageous. /li /ulh3What we offer /h3ulliCompetitive salary and annual bonus scheme /liliOpportunities to grow and develop yourself /liliRoom for initiatives and entrepreneurship /liliA collaborative culture where teamwork is celebrated /li /ulh3Why work for us? /h3ullibWe care about our people: /b We offer a flexible working environment with office, work from home days, plus European travel.
