It is accountable for defining the ‘One Chiesi’ Strategy and allocating resources to create long‑term, sustainable, shared value for the Group and its stakeholders. /p h3Whowe are looking for /h3 pWe are seeking a motivated and skilled Legal Counsel to join the Global Legal Business, Innovation Protection unit reporting to the Lead Legal Counsel, Global Legal Business, Innovation Protection. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in MA and/or licensing transactions, preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector. This role offers the opportunity to work on licensing agreements, and complex transactions that support innovation and growth, including in the digital healthcare sector supporting the inorganic growth of the Company. /p h3This is what you will do /h3 ul liDraft, review, and negotiate: ul liLicense agreements and related contracts /li liThird‑party vendor agreements /li liService agreements and Research /li liConsulting agreements /li liNon‑disclosure agreements (NDAs) and Material Transfer Agreement /li /ul /li liProactively advise on legal risks, monitor claims and disputes, and translate complex legal issues into clear, actionable insights. /li liProvide legal advice on transactional matters, including due diligence, risk assessment, and regulatory considerations. /li liCollaborate cross‑functionally with RD, business development, finance, and compliance teams. /li liSupport the management of relationships with external counsels, including coordination of activities, review of deliverables, and cost oversight. /li liMonitor legal developments and industry trends relevant to licensing and MA. /li liContribute to the development of internal best practices and templates. /li /ul h3You will need to have /h3 ul liMinimum 2–4 years of experience in transactional legal work, with exposure to licensing and MA in international law firms or international company /li liLaw degree (and successful completion of the Italian bar exam or foreign equivalent) /li liExcellent command of English, both written and spoken /li liStrong analytical, negotiation and communication skills /li liAbility to work independently and as part of a global legal team /li liStrong teamwork capabilities and ability to collaborate across functions /li liHigh level of resilience and adaptability in a dynamic environment /li liExcellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities within assigned deadlines /li liProven ability to work in international and cross‑cultural environments, often outside of one’s comfort zone, with openness and flexibility /li /ul h3Location /h3 pThe role is based in the HQ or in one of Chiesi affiliates in Europe. /p h3What we offer /h3 pNo matter where your path starts at Chiesi, it leads to inspiring possibilities.
