TXT is looking for a thesis candidate for a master's thesis project in the field of Industry 4.0 and 5.0 services for companies in the manufacturing sector. Project title Digital twin as-a service based on asset administration shell Background The main objective of the project is to create a new Industry 4.0 and 5.0 service offering for companies in the manufacturing sector. The services focus on the management and extraction of value from production data, leveraging the construction of the Digital Twin of the production process, to develop services such as quality prediction, production optimisation with minimisation of downtimes, machinery setup/maintenance and energy costs. The INCREASE Project aims to offer an integrated, modular and complete system based on cutting-edge technologies such as Digital Twin, Artificial Intelligence, Extended Reality (XR) and others to support SMEs (but not only). The main aim is to help companies move towards leaner, predictive operating models that can adapt to change through innovative digital tools and change management strategies focused on simplifying the adoption of new technologies. Main activities Define, design and implement a cloud-based environment for the management, monitoring and maintenance of physical assets through direct interaction with MES-type systems (to be standardized through open APIs) with support for the Asset Administration Shell (AAS) for the Digital Twin design to guarantee openness of the solution.
