As Industrial & Utilities Engineer, your primary responsibility will be overseeing the civil engineering aspects of the expansion of the Group’s manufacturing plants and production lines. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the seamless integration of utilities and infrastructures into both new and existing production environments, including the construction of new facilities and the upgrading of existing ones.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the design and planning of additional civil infrastructure for manufacturing plants.
* Work with external consultants and subject matter experts to finalize executive projects and associated cost estimates.
* Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and automation engineers to ensure the seamless integration of civil infrastructure with both existing and new production systems and technologies.
* Provide technical support and guidance in the planning and execution of civil works, including foundations, structural elements, utilities and site preparation for both manufacturing environments and ancillary plant systems.
* Ensure, with the support of consultants and in collaboration with local authorities, that all civil works comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
* Liaise with contractors and suppliers to specify and procure materials, equipment, and services required for civil works.
* Assist the CAPEX team in monitoring ongoing civil works on-site, ensuring that project progress aligns with timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations.
* Assess risks related to civil engineering works and identify effective mitigation measures.
Qualifications
* Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
* Strong knowledge of construction processes with 2-4 years of hands-on experience in the industry
* Experience in the design and construction of foundations, buildings, and facilities
* Understanding of health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and building codes.
* Proficiency in civil engineering software for design and planning.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a team-oriented mindset.
* Proficiency in Italian and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of additional languages (French, German, Finnish) is a plus.
Preferred Skills
* Experience with large-scale industrial projects and complex civil works in manufacturing or production environments is a plus.
* Knowledge of environmental impact assessments and implementing sustainability measures in construction projects is an advantage.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery
