Experteer Overview
In this role you integrate Voice Core technologies within Vodafone-managed networks, guiding designs from planning to deployment. You work to ensure in-service performance aligns with design intent, across 2G/3G/4G/5G core functions, signaling, IP multimedia, and mobile switching elements. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable voice services, and you contribute to harmonizing operations across countries. This position offers a path to impact the broader network strategy while supporting a balanced, inclusive work culture.
Retribuzione / Benefits
* Oversee detailed planning, low-level design, configuration and integration with mobile and fixed operators
* Manage lifecycle of systems within the Voice Core domain
* Ensure hardware and software acceptance in the network per requirements
* Conduct integration testing of new technologies and services with suppliers and internal teams
* Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and quality as Voice Core lead domain
* Ensure end-to-end performance targets and interconnect quality across networks
Responsabilità
* Degree qualified
* Fluent in Italian and English (at least B2)
* At least 2 years of professional experience in telecommunications
* Expertise in core mobile networks (2G/3G/4G/5G)
* Knowledge of telecommunication principles and protocols
* Experience with network virtualization and containerization (preferred)
* Understanding of routing, switching, IPv4/IPv6
* Ability to design telecommunications networks and collaborate cross-functionally
