As a Buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing materials, parts, supplies, and services in line with company policies and procedures. You will play a key role in ensuring competitive pricing, optimal delivery terms, and strong supplier relationships, while supporting operational continuity and cost efficiency across the business.
Responsibilities
- Purchase materials, parts, supplies, and services in accordance with established purchasing policies and procedures.
- Analyse supplier quotations and lead negotiations to achieve competitive pricing, delivery, and commercial terms.
- Identify cost‑saving opportunities through supplier reviews and pricing analysis.
- Manage pricing revisions, order cancellations, delivery date changes, and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations and confirm delivery schedules.
- Execute purchasing activities accurately and efficiently to support business requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or University degree.
- 3-4 years’ experience in a buyer or procurement role.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment; global manufacturing experience is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office; SAP experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with strong English proficiency.
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Flexible and adaptable, comfortable navigating organizational change.
