We are urgently looking for a Senior Legal professional, based in Milan, who will handle legal assistance activities related to real estate matters involving GRE SPA and GRE SGR, in relation to asset management, project management, and property management activities. The role reports to the Head of Real Estate Legal Affairs (based in Milan).
In detail, the candidate :
* Will safeguard the companies’ interests by ensuring all activities comply with Italian law and regulations, as well as Group policies and guidelines, collaborating with external law firms when necessary.
* Will advise and support the operational and functional departments of GRe SpA and GRE SGR, providing analysis and research on legal matters relevant to the companies’ real estate business.
Key Tasks :
* Legal assistance in coordination with external law firms for project management matters, including H&S issues.
* Participate in structuring, drafting, negotiating, and implementing agreements related to the acquisition / disposal of real estate assets.
* Draft and review agreements involving Generali Real Estate as a party, covering real estate matters in Italy and abroad, such as mandates, asset management, and property management agreements, including liaising with Italian Municipalities and Supervisory Authorities.
* Review commercial service agreements involving Generali Real Estate, coordinating with local law firms as needed.
* Assist with legal issues from the operations of the Group’s shopping centers, including drafting / negotiating lease agreements, advisory service agreements, procurement agreements, and marketing / sponsorship agreements, along with NDA, MoU, NBO, BO, SPA reviews.
* Provide updates on applicable laws and regulations, monitor legal risks, and report regularly to the Head of Real Estate Legal Affairs.
* Coordinate legal activities related to disputes involving Generali Real Estate in real estate matters.
* Collaborate with external law firms specializing in Privacy Law to support privacy management and EU Digital Agenda implementation.
* Support other real estate legal matters impacting Generali Real Estate operations in Italy.
Requirements :
* Law degree with approximately five years of experience in international law firms or legal departments of multinational companies operating in real estate.
* Strong oral and written English skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Creative problem-solving skills to minimize risks and resolve issues efficiently.
