The ideal candidate will bring a hands-on approach, blending deep technical expertise with strategic vision to drive product innovation while providing continuous support to production processes. Currently, the technical office primarily provides support to production processes and is not actively engaged in new product development. The R&D Manager will be responsible for transforming this team, strengthening its capabilities, and driving the development of new models to expand and enhance Perazzi's product range. Additionally, there is the potential for this role to oversee the creation and management of a Quality Department, which is currently absent in the organization. Key Responsibilities Lead the technical office team (currently 3 members), developing their skills to support both production and product innovation. Design and develop new product models that enrich and diversify Perazzi's current range, ensuring alignment with the company’s high-quality standards. Collaborate closely with the production team to optimize manufacturing processes and improve technical support. Establish structured design methodologies and implement efficient product development processes. Support the implementation of the new ERP system, particularly in aspects related to technical data and design integration. Work closely with the parent company (CSG) to ensure alignment on product innovation strategies and report progress in English. Develop and implement a Quality Department if required, defining procedures, inspection criteria, and quality assurance processes. Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations in the firearms industry. Requirements Degree in mechanical engineering, industrial design, or related technical fields. At least 5-7 years of experience in R&D roles, ideally in mechanical industries involving precision machining or handcrafted assembly. Proven experience in designing new products and enhancing existing ones. Strong technical skills with CAD software and other design tools. Experience in supporting production teams by providing technical solutions and resolving design-related issues. Experience in establishing or managing a Quality Department would be considered a plus. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members. Strong English skills (written and spoken) to manage communication with the parent company.
