LOCATION: ON-SITE IN ILLINOIS, USA
We are looking for a:
to support the development, testing, and validation of driveline systems across agricultural and off-highway vehicle applications.
The role focuses on ensuring driveline performance, durability, and system reliability through comprehensive verification and validation (V&V) activities, utilizing advanced testing methodologies and NI-based toolchains.
Key responsibilities for the position:
* Plan and execute Verification and Validation activities for driveline systems (mechanical and control aspects).
* Develop and run test procedures on rigs and vehicles to evaluate system performance, durability, and functional compliance.
* Utilize National Instruments VeriStand or TestStand and LabVIEW to implement test automation, data acquisition, and result analysis.
* Ensure testing is conducted in accordance with relevant standards, safety procedures, and customer requirements.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies and data management processes.
Required Skills:
* Proven expertise in Driveline systems (mechanical layout, torque transfer, controls interface).
* Strong background in Verification & Validation processes, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
* Proficiency in National Instruments VeriStand or TestStand and LabVIEW toolchains for system testing and automation.
* Familiarity with vehicle communication networks (CAN, LIN) and data logging tools.
* Understanding of mechanical and control system interactions within powertrain and driveline domains.
Profile Completes:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering.
* Minimum 3+ years of experience in driveline or powertrain testing and validation.
* Experience in the Agricultural sector or off-highway vehicle development is highly preferred.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams
