TXT E-Tech S.r.l., a company of the TXT Group, is looking for a System Engineer to work on a communication equipment simulation system, to be part of its Aerospace & Defence business unit.
Main responsibilities:
Analysis of system requirements and derivation of subsystem requirements, including through the use of dedicated tools;
Preparation of technical specifications, interface specifications, and test procedures;
Development of simulation models of devices using Simulink toolboxes;
Development and programming of FPGAs;
Participation in design reviews;
Setup of test benches;
Conducting tests and drafting related test reports;
In-house/on-site integration and acceptance activities;
Management of documentation and software configuration.
Indispensable technical skills:
Knowledge of customer requirements analysis methodologies and system requirements generation;
Basic knowledge of requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS) and design tools (e.g., Rhapsody, CAMEO);
Knowledge of C, C++, and C# programming languages;
Knowledge of development on programmable electronic devices (FPGAs);
Advanced knowledge of Simulink and autocode generation;
Knowledge of Windows and Unix operating systems;
Knowledge of office automation tools (MS Office, MS Visio);
Knowledge of configuration control and versioning tools (SVN, GIT).
The following are considered a PLUS:
Basic electronics skills;
Radio frequency telecommunications skills (LOS, BLOS);
Knowledge of military communications and their waveforms;
Knowledge of avionics subsystems (ARINC429, MIL-STD-1553);
Knowledge of serial interfaces (RS422, RS485, USB);
Experience in the integration of subsystems/systems at the electrical, signal, and SW levels.
Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Computer Engineering.
