HR Generalist Role in a Dynamic Organization
We are seeking a skilled HR Generalist to join our team. This role will provide exposure to various general HR functions, including staffing and recruiting, employee relations, training, payroll, and other related areas.
The successful candidate will work independently and collaboratively to drive business objectives and assist the Human Resources Senior Manager in handling more complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee full spectrum of Human Resources functions for the region, including recruitment, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, employee retention, and employee engagement.
2. Assist the Human Resources Department in developing and executing HR strategies to enhance overall HR effectiveness and efficiency within the region.
3. Ensure all payroll administration and other information (time & attendance, leave, OT records) are well recorded.
4. Establish and maintain departmental records and reports.
5. Enhance employee productivity and commitment to goals.
6. Proactively develop relationships within assigned population and act as point of contact.
7. Support and direct delivery of all HR and Change Management strategies, initiatives, and processes for regional operations.
8. Build strong business relationship with leadership team and serve as key adviser enabling strong management and leadership across business.
9. Facilitate design and implementation of best solutions fueling engagement: faster, better, cheaper processes and tools; health of population of members; profitable growth; culture.
10. Make field visits to build relationships with managers and non-management employees in businesses they support.
11. Identify gaps and implement plans necessary to cover risks and drive performance.
12. Understand organizational structure, approach, and propose impactful change.
13. Serve as role model for organization's Culture drivers; plan wisely; break down walls; think critically, speak up, and deliver with pride; inspire through trust and lead by example.
14. Manage offboarding process for all voluntary and involuntary terminations, including exit interviews and return of all company property.
15. Plan and execute talent sourcing activities for experienced hiring or internship program at direction of local operations team.
16. Review statistical data and prepare monthly reports, identify and determine causes of personnel problems and recommend solutions for improvement.
17. Handle grievances and conflicts between employee and implement disciplinary procedures accordingly, as they arise.
18. Conduct all onboarding and orientation for newly hired staff.
19. Evaluate necessary staffing procedures and documents.
20. Assist in ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned.
