Your opportunity
Sidel is looking for a Field Service Technician (FST) specialized on Automation; the main focus is the following: - Perform Installation, start‐up, commissioning and test of the Sidel Equipment supplied to customer sites; - Perform technical assistance during and after the warranty period, carry out training and other after sales services of Sidel’s equipment installed at customer sites. - Finally, a good understanding of the customer needs is to be developed to provide objective advice and to ensure customer satisfaction.
Your Mission
1. Install, commission and test Sidel equipment, including single machines and complete production lines
2. Troubleshoot, prevent and adopt corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical and automated machines within high-speed production lines
3. Execute precise technical diagnostics, share feedback with internal support teams and propose corrective actions
4. Administrate equipment upgrades and optimisation, including hardware and software updates
5. Collaborate closely with project managers and technical support teams to ensure customer satisfaction
6. Train and empower client operators and maintenance technicians to ensure efficient equipment handling
7. Report after sales opportunities detected on Customer site;
8. Comply fully with Sidel and client safety rules, with clear communications throughout interventions
Your Profile
Qualifications :
9. Technical degree (automation, mechatronics, electrotechnics, industrial maintenance…)
10. Strong technical curiosity and eagerness to learn continuously
11. Field experience preferred or strong motivation to learn on the job
12. Fluent in English, essential for working in a multicultural team
13. Willingness to travel extensively (often >80% of the time) and adapt to different international environments
14. Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service mindset
