Sales Manager
The primary objective of this role is to leverage negotiation skills and prospect new business opportunities in Italy, closely collaborating with senior management.
* Negotiate with existing customers and identify potential leads for expansion.
* Act as a Key Account Manager for international clients, providing exceptional customer service.
* Deliver tailored quotes and offers to meet client needs.
* Report directly to the Sales Director Europe.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop sales strategies for various products to maximize customer satisfaction.
* Gather essential information for contract preparation.
* Work closely with technical teams to offer customized solutions.
* Identify new business opportunities, particularly in relation to replacing Polyamide compounds.
* Negotiate favorable terms of sale in conjunction with senior management.
* Manage customer rates and maintain accurate records.
* Issue material samples and test requests for the laboratory.
* Foster strong customer relationships to drive long-term partnerships.
* Maintain control over contract compliance and sales volumes with assigned customers.
* Anticipate and mitigate customer risks, financial risks, delivery disruptions, and changes in customer structure.
* Serve as an interface between customers and management, sales, R&D, QHSE, and finance teams.
* Support technical and sales teams during tests, complaints, or disputes.
* Provide regular updates on sales activities, customer situations, and sample progress to senior management and during sales meetings.
Your Profile:
* Employ effective sales and negotiation techniques.
* Demonstrate detailed knowledge of company capabilities and product advantages.
* Showcase expertise in the plastics industry, especially injection molding, with a proven track record of successful account management.
* Achieve analytical thinking and adaptability in response to changing market conditions.
* Exercise strong decision-making skills, identifying and mitigating potential problems with customers.
* Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication within and outside the organization at various levels.
* Apply time management and priority setting skills with a self-motivated attitude.
* Effectively utilize MS Office and ERP systems.
* Speak fluently in both Italian and English.
