For our dynamic growing, innovative Brands division within an established international pharmaceutical company, we are seeking an experienced Medical Affairs field professional. This role requires someone who is willing to think beyond the traditional big pharma MSL role and operate autonomously in an entrepreneurial manner. You will join a team of three Medical Managers in Italy, responsible for developing and executing Medical Affairs strategies and projects. Additionally, you will support Sales and Marketing colleagues, with a demonstrated ability to identify commercial opportunities. The ideal candidate resides in Italy, speaks English fluently for communication with the European Management team, and reports to the Lead Medical Managers Europe, based in various European locations, including Amsterdam. Responsibilities include: - Developing Medical Affairs strategies and executing scientific projects such as publications and advisory boards. - Building peer-to-peer relationships with KOLs and other healthcare influencers, based on scientific evidence. - Supporting business activities related to Odomzo (sonidegib) for locally advanced basal cell carcinoma in Italy. - Connecting with and supporting networks in Derma-oncology and other therapeutic areas. - Communicating emerging data to experts and responding to healthcare professional inquiries. - Assisting colleagues with organizing HCP events by providing medical content. Qualifications: - Graduate or postgraduate degree in a biomedical or scientific field. - At least 3 years of experience as an MSL or Medical Manager in the innovative pharmaceutical industry. - Minimum of 1 year experience in a commercial role within the industry. - Native Italian speaker and fluent in English. Desirable: - Experience in Dermatology or Oncology. - Knowledge of dermatology or oncology therapeutic areas. - Understanding of regulatory environment and compliance. - A positive, creative mindset towards challenges.
