We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join our Financial Controlling team at our HQ in Milan.
Reporting to the Financial Controlling Manager, the ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience and a strong background in financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, and cost controlling within an international and multi-channel environment.
Main Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the monthly closing process across regions, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.
* Prepare consolidated financial reports and support Group consolidation activities by performing variance analyses and providing performance insights through the identification of key drivers and trends.
* Directly manage cost controlling activities for HQ departments, with a particular focus on Brand and IT functions.
* Support the preparation and coordination of Budget and Forecast processes across regions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Ensure proper financial data integration across ERP and reporting systems.
* Maintain and continuously improve internal reporting tools, financial models, and templates to enhance data visibility, automation, and efficiency.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Controlling within structured and multi-channel organizations.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
* Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
* Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial processes; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with ERP systems (SAP) and reporting tools (e.g., Oracle PBCS/FCCS, Qlik) is required.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
