A Tech Rep Supervisor (also referred to as Functional User Rep or Business System Engineer) represents operations towards IT, and IT towards the operations, ensuring that operational requirements are supported by UPS' IT systems while adhering to global IT standards.
What You’ll Do
* Analyse business requirements and translate them into systematic processes, test and support the implementation of healthcare supply chain solutions in the Warehouse Management System.
* Receive extensive training on the applications and on healthcare process compliance, enabling you to support implementation of new system solutions, identify and implement operational improvements, and act as the first point of contact for operational IT questions.
* Work autonomously in projects while collaborating closely with clients, Tech Reps for other UPS applications, Industrial Engineering, IT, QA, Operations, and Project Management. You will be working for the UPS Healthcare global business unit.
What You’ll Need
* Education: Preferably a Bachelor in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology or related engineering.
* Experience: At least 3+ years in a role as industrial engineer, logistics specialist, or consultant in a supply chain management environment. Experience in business requirements engineering, functional and user acceptance testing. Healthcare logistics experience is a big plus.
* Competencies: Strong knowledge of operational methods and procedures in a supply chain management environment and of SCM systems (OMS, WMS, TMS). Ability to determine and review various solutions and translate them into business‑requirement documents.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Willingness to travel.
* Software skills: Excellent working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. MS Visio experience is preferred. Excellent communication skills in English and Italian. SQL and MS Access knowledge preferred.
