Key Responsibilities
Create elegant and intuitive, multi‐modal user experiences by incorporating insights, business requirements and technical constraintsLead the planning and strategic phases of a project. Proactively pitch new CX ideas, backed by a strong, well‐articulated rationaleQuickly and iteratively create user flows, wireframes, and lo‐fi prototypes, with detailed visual design specifications for web and mobile interfacesIndependently deliver UX solutions for problems of large scope and complexityBe a champion for user‐centered design by researching/testing your solutions in front of usersPresent design work to UX, Product, and Engineering teams, as well as stakeholders and executive leadershipContribute to user experience design guidelines and development best practices and standards at Amazon Design CommunityProactively mentor and lead other designersDesign experiences that balance end‐customer needs with dealer/partner requirements in a B2B2C marketplace modelCollaborate with cross‐functional teams to define advertising integration strategies that enhance the customer experience
About the TeamThis role is on a team with a vision to create innovative automotive discovery and shopping experiences on Amazon, providing customers better convenience and more selection. We're collaborating with other experienced teams at Amazon to define the future of how customers research and shop for cars online.Basic Qualifications
7+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experienceExperience in delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexityHave an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end‐to‐end, user‐centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devicesExperience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similarExperience designing for international markets and localization
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with a matrixed team of stakeholders to achieve a common goal or equivalentExperience in online or digital advertisingExperience with multi‐side marketplaces or complex transaction‐based products
