In Ceres Spa we are looking for a motivated and proactive Controller Junior with about 1-2 years of experience in the FMCG sector. The ideal candidate will have a analytical mindset and a keen attention to detail, working closely with the Senior Controller and the Commercial team to ensure effective and precise financial control.
Key Responsibilities
* Data Management: Update and maintain databases and master data files, dashboards, and tools used by both Finance and Sales teams, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and integrity in financial data.
* Reporting: Support the Senior Controller in updating monthly financial reports and contribute to preparing analyses and presentations for management.
* Business Partnering: Actively collaborate with the commercial team to monitor sales investments, verify net prices, monitor credit notes and the registration of accruals, manage Rebate & Discounts, and handle ad-hoc business case analyses.
* Variance Analysis: Perform variance analysis vs budget (VPM analysis) for different brands, channels (on-trade and off-trade), and customers. Analyze revenue by clusters to identify trends and opportunities.
Requirements And Qualifications
* Master’s degree in economics / Management engineering. Master’s in Finance is a plus
* About 1-2 years of experience in a controlling role, preferably in the FMCG or multi-beverage industry.
* Strong analytical mindset and proven attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Excel and MS Office package; knowledge and use of SAP/Power BI is a plus.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with different departments.
* Proactive, autonomous, and a good problem-solver.
* Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
