Marvell is a leading provider of innovative storage technologies, including ultra-fast read channels, high-performance processors, leading edge transceivers, highly efficient analog designs, and powerful cryptographic engines. What You Can Expect
* In this on-site role based in Pavia, you'll be joining a growing team responsible for the development of software tools needed for characterization and validation of the physical layer of high frequency SerDes systems, Optical modules, DSP based communication systems and other key chips developed by the company.
* You will be supporting validation team in defining testing architecture, support software development for the testing phase.
* Design, management and support of complex desktop applications, operating systems and components.
* Develop graphical user interface for the testing infrastructure.
* Work closely with the Validation Engineering teams to complete functional analysis.
* Generate documentation and user manual of the produced software.
* Develop and Maintain dashboard.
What We're Looking For
* Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical or Computer Engineering. Other majors may be considered if you have enough knowledge or experience in this area.
* Working knowledge of Python and C. You also need a fundamental understanding of firmware and software architecture. You should be able to explain how you write a program.
* Be willing to learn. During your first few months, you'll be coming up to speed on our technology and tools such as our compilers, assemblers, editors, etc. You'll be learning the ins and outs of storage and how our chips fit into the bigger system here. Even after you've been here a while, you'll be constantly learning new things because we are on the absolute leading edge of technology. We're developing new things all the time.
