It has a consolidated turnover of €5,683 million and an EBITDA of €1,080 million, and employs more than 7,627 dedicated individuals. /ppWe are currently looking for a bAccountant /b to join our bFinance /b team in Milan, Italy, as part of our subsidiary, Metlen Energy. /ph3Role Summary /h3pBy joining this role, you will stay up-to-date and compliant with accounting, tax, and HQ rules, policies, and requirements of the legal entities in Italy. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliPerform accounting activities (booking disbursements/cash receipts). /liliPrepare payments to suppliers, monitor the receivables/payables, and reconcile bank statements for several legal entities of the group. /liliPrepare payments on various e-banking platforms. /liliParticipate in the cash flow recording activities (actual) within the group to ensure accurate, and timely set of cash flow analysis. /liliPrepare and update the daily/monthly/yearly cash flow report. /liliCollaborate with financial controlling teams to ensure the on time recording of the cash in out activities. /liliPrepare accounting analyses and reports when needed (cash flow reporting). /liliAssist the Country Finance Manager and the Controllers with preparing and monitoring budgets. /liliMaintain and reconcile the balance sheet and general ledger accounts. /liliAssist the Finance Manager with annual audit activities. /liliInvestigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor's degree in accounting or finance. /lili3+ years of accounting experience, ideally within an international experience. /liliStrong accounting and tax skills (VAT, withholding tax, CIT, etc.). /liliStrong organizational and stress management skills (respect to deadlines in terms of tax compliance and calendar of reporting, IAS/IFRS compliant). /liliProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel. /liliSAP knowledge is required. /li /ulh3EEO Statement /h3pWe respect your personal data.
