We are looking for a Project Quality Engineer that will join our Quality Department and focus on our Fans Business Unit and related projects. The role ensures products and processes comply with technical specifications and quality standards, monitors suppliers and production, and supports the resolution of non-conformities throughout all project phases.
Responsibilities
- Review specifications and drawings, and manage quality-related documents and applicable regulations for projects.
- Prepare control and test documents and certificates, and compile end-of-manufacturing dossiers.
- Manage inspections witnessed by clients and third parties, at both our premises and suppliers’ facilities.
- Address non-conformities in coordination with Quality Control and Production departments.
- Expedite and monitor work progress, and verify manufacturing and assembly schedules.
- Conduct in-process and final product inspections, including testing and commissioning at job sites.
- Support during inspection and audit visits.
- Select and qualify suppliers through inspection visits, both in Italy and abroad.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial or equivalent).
- 2–4 years of experience in Project Quality.
- Solid knowledge of ISO 9001 and industrial quality processes.
- Experience in managing inspections and supplier qualifications.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar).
- Former experience with rotating machinery is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent in English (B2 level or higher).
