Sécheron Hasler Italia is seeking an Electronics HW PCB Designer to join its dynamic hardware development team. The selected candidate will work closely with the R&D Hardware Manager, contributing to the design and development of electronic railway devices, with a particular focus on PCB design.
Key Responsibilities
* Design of printed circuit boards (PCBs) in accordance with internal guidelines and product hardware requirements, including DFM/DFT considerations.
* Creation of PCBA layouts and collaboration with internal hardware designers and PCB suppliers.
* Maintenance and updating of the electronic component library following company procedures.
* Coordination with mechanical engineering teams to ensure seamless integration between electronic and mechanical components.
* Support in preparing electrical schematics and PCBA documentation.
Qualifications
* Technical diploma in electronics or a degree in electronic engineering.
* 1–2 years of experience in electronic hardware design, preferably in automotive, aerospace, consumer electronics, or railway sectors.
* Basic knowledge of drawing standards and techniques, with the ability to interpret design guidelines (preferably IPC standards).
* Proficiency in at least one PCB layout and/or schematic entry tool (e.g., OrCAD, Mentor, Altium).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Team-oriented mindset and goal-driven approach.
* Good command of English (written and spoken).
* Solid IT skills.
