Please note that no housing or relocation costs are offered or covered for this position. /em /pbr/pWhat will you be doing as Front of the House Manager: /pbr/ulliEnsuring a smooth running of all Front of House activities. /liliMonitor and plan staffing levels to meet business demands effectively. /liliConduct monthly communication meetings and produce minutes. /liliManage staff performance in compliance with company policies and procedures. /liliSupervise, coordinate and develop the Front of House team. /liliComply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation. /liliAct in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front-of-house equipment and property management systems. /liliSupporting the GM in running operations for our Puccini Hotel. /liliAssist with other departments, as necessary. /li /ulbr/strongWork Experience /strongbr/ulliA minimum of 4 years experience as a Front Office Manager (or as Assistant Office Manager experience in a larger Hotel). /liliStrong understanding of hotel operations, including guest check-in/check-out, room reservations, and managing guest inquiries. /liliFamiliarity with hotel management software (knowledge of Hilton ONQ and ONQ RI is an advantage) for reservations, billing, and guest management. /liliStrong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment. /liliAbility to oversee housekeeping operations, ensuring that cleanliness and maintenance standards are met. /liliKnowledge of Milan’s attractions, restaurants, and services to offer guests valuable recommendations. /liliExperienced in creating and implementing operational procedures to enhance guest experiences and improve efficiency. /liliAttention to detail and high standards for guest services, including room preparation, amenities, and special requests. /liliAbility to manage reservations and room assignments, ensuring smooth guest arrivals and departures. /liliExperience with handling financial transactions, including billing, invoicing, and cash management. /liliDemonstrated ability to build positive relationships with Team members, guests and suppliers. /liliCapable of proactively solving guest issues with patience and professionalism. /liliDemonstrated knowledge of Italian health safety legislation, fire regulations and hotel security rules. /liliExisting experience within the Hilton network is an advantage. /liliA passion for coaching and mentoring colleagues. /liliProficient in written and spoken English language. /liliNative or near-native Italian speaker. /liliProficient with computers and IT in general (Microsoft Package). /li /ulbr/strongBenefits /strongbr/ulliOpportunity to join a completely new team while opening a new stunning and unique property in the centre of Milan. /liliAn excellent stimulating environment. /liliParticipating in all activities of the Hotel to experience your role in full. /liliPersonal Development programmes designed to support you at every step of your career. /liliA chance to make a difference through our Corporate Responsibility programmes. /liliTeam Member Travel Program: discounted hotel nights plus 50% off Food and Beverages (subject to individual outlets). /liliTeam Member Referral Program. /liliSmart uniform provided. /liliTicket restaurant. /li /ulbr/strongDisclaimer /strongbr/This job posting is for a position at a hotel that is owned and operated by an independent franchisee.
