This role will support shop floor personnel from a technical standpoint and drive productivity/manufacturability/cost-out improvements for the business. At the same time M.E. will work to develop procedure, work instruction, methods to support the production as well. /p pAvenza Aero Alliance is a provider of LM2500/LM6000 (Aero derivative gas turbines) overhaul services. /p h3Job Description /h3 h3Essential Responsibilities /h3 ul liProvide technical support in the disassembly, repairs and assembly processes for the shop floor /li liDefine, design, and follow the execution of equipment/devices/machines starting by drafting technical specification till to the commissioning in the workshop. The M.E. will work strictly with: /li liLines leaders/shop leader: to know and satisfy the needs of the shop. /li liEHS: to be compliant with internal and by Law requirement. /li liQuality team: to respect the product high quality level. /li liLean team: to develop solutions in line with the lean concept. /li liFinance dept: to define the expenses and business cases where needed. /li liProduct engineer dept: to know the product. /li liSourcing Dept: to discuss the requirement asked for the bid phase. /li liDevelop Work instructions, methods, processes and procedures to give detailed information to the shop. i.e.: Handling, and lifting procedures, assembly, and disassembly procedures, etc. …collaborating with ops and cross-functions team (see previous point) /li liDefine hours to apply to the shop floor operation routings according to the operation to perform. /li liLead analysis and perform metrics and KPI to monitor shop floor performances in terms of efficiency/ productivity (hours analysis applied on the routings: for instance planned Vs actuals) /li liProvide leadership/mentorship for team to lead shop floor improvement projects to resolution /li liShare best practices across shop floor to drive consistency, ensure our processes are continuously improving /li liUnderstand and collect the shop depts needs to create the investment plan. /li liTrack the expense for the fixtures among the depts to respect the budget defined year over year. /li liService Routings Analysis to define equipment/fixture/methods to perform the activities in shopfloor /li liPurchase commercial equipment/device to support production. /li liSupport process improvement initiatives (like AWO, Committee) to reduce waste, cycle time, improve EHS/Quality/Ergonomics. /li liDevelop a strong partnership with internal and external teams to build continuous process improvement /li liPartner with cross-functional leaders to drive a strong culture in Quality and Safety /li liHold self and team accountable to Aero Alliance Compliance and Integrity standards /li /ul h3Qualifications/Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma) or equivalent knowledge or work experience in a manufacturing environment /li liExcellent analytical skills /li liProficient skills in PC, Microsoft Office, Excel, Access /li liUse of CAD tooling /li liOracle or other ERP system experience /li liFluency in Italian English /li liBe a solution-oriented problem solver /li /ul h3Desired Characteristics /h3 ul liBe flexible in a dynamic environment. /li liWorking experience in FEM /li liStrong attention to details and quality. /li liCustomer-focused mindset /li liExperience with Gas Turbines engines, preferably aircraft or aero derivatives /li liAbility to interact with all levels and functions of the organization /li liAbility to document, plan, market, and execute programs and projectsLean Manufacturing experience driving process improvements /li liLean, DMS and problem-solving processes knowledge. /li liSix Sigma certification a plus /li /ul h3Additional Information /h3 pRelocation Assistance Provided: No /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
