This role on the Risk Mining team serves as the centralized intake for complex investigations and escalations. You will conduct deep dive analyses using internal data systems and open source intelligence tools to uncover hidden patterns of fraud and abuse, collaborate with cross-functional partner teams, translate technical findings into clear business impacts, and develop coordinated response plans. You will document methodologies and help scale detection capabilities. Your daily responsibilities include deep diving new investigations, escalations, and datasets to uncover emerging fraud patterns, developing new detection methods, and improving investigation processes. You will collaborate with partner teams across Amazon to understand their priorities and workflows. Working both independently and as part of a team, you will share insights that drive strategic decisions aligned with broader organizational objectives.
