RINA is currently recruiting for a Process Technology Innovation Consulting Engineering Project Manager to join its offices in Rome, Lecce, Genoa, La Spezia, Rozzano (Italy) within the Management Consulting Division.MissionThe Project Manager in this role takes on a leadership position, contributing strategic insights and overseeing the successful execution of projects, ensuring completion of deliverables within the defined deadlines, scope, and budget. It is a pivotal role in client relationships, team development, and the implementation of impactful solutions in process efficiency, technology adoption, and decarbonisation, providing strategic consultancy activities across sectors such as manufacturing, OG, energy, and public entities.Key AccountabilitiesManage projects for industrial clients, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and budget.Manage customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.Coordinate the preparation of techno-economic proposals internally.Monitor tenders, grants, and incentives.Oversee engineering and technical activities, including technological scenario analysis to identify cutting-edge technologies and suppliers for project-specific applications like industrial technologies, decarbonisation, sustainability, carbon capture, digitalization, and process optimization.Stay updated on innovative technology trends and key industry players.Prepare technical documentation for private entities seeking grants and incentives (e.g., PNRR, EU funds, state aid).EducationBachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.QualificationsExperience in an engineering or technical role within a project environment, ideally with cross-functional teamwork experience, or experience in an associate project management role.Knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Lean) with the ability to adapt approaches as needed.Effective management of schedules, resources, and budgets.Deep understanding of project lifecycle management, including requirements gathering, risk management, quality control, and change management.Familiarity with industry-specific standards, practices, and regulations (e.g., IT, construction, engineering).Proficiency in contract management, client relations, and vendor coordination.Proficiency in Italian and good working knowledge of English.CompetenciesAddress the way - Have a broad perspective and reinterpret situations accordingly.Build network - Develop trust relationships within and outside the organization.Client intimacy - Understand and meet internal and external client needs.Earn trust - Value diverse opinions and remain open-minded.Make effective decisions - Prioritize activities based on resources and constraints.Manage emotions - Recognize and regulate emotions in oneself and others.Pioneer change - Embrace and leverage change.Promote sustainable development - Demonstrate commitment and act as a role model.Think forward - Use past experiences to plan future actions.RINA is a multinational company providing services across energy, marine, certification, infrastructure mobility, industry, and RD sectors.
