The Assistant HR Manager serves as a strategic partner to the Director of HR, ensuring the seamless operation of the HR department. This role is specifically designed to champion the "Employee Journey," with a primary focus on Welfare, Housing, and Soft HR initiatives. The goal is to ensure that the staff experience at Rosa Alpina mirrors the exceptional luxury experience provided to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
1. Employee Welfare & Culture (Primary Focus)
· Well-being Initiatives: Design and execute welfare programs that promote mental and physical health, work-life balance, and job satisfaction.
· Employee Engagement: Organize staff social events, seasonal parties, and recognition programs (e.g., "Employee of the Month") to foster a strong sense of community.
· Internal Communication: Manage internal notice boards, newsletters, and digital platforms to ensure every team member feels informed and valued.
· Mediation: Act as a trusted point of contact for employees, providing a bridge between staff and management to resolve interpersonal issues effectively.
2. Staff Housing & Facilities
· Quality Control: Oversee the management of staff accommodations, ensuring they meet Aman's high standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort.
· Logistics: Coordinate room assignments, check-in/check-out procedures for seasonal staff, and manage relationships with external housing providers.
· Living Experience: Continuously look for ways to improve the "home away from home" environment for our residential team.
3. Recruitment & Onboarding (Soft HR)
· Employer Branding: Assist in positioning Aman Rosa Alpina as an employer of choice through social media and local partnerships.
· Elevated Onboarding: Lead the induction process for new hires, ensuring they are not just "processed" but warmly welcomed and culturally integrated into the Aman DNA.
· Exit Interviews: Conduct exit interviews to gather insights and implement strategies to reduce turnover.
4. HR Operations Support
· Support the Director of HR in daily administrative tasks and compliance with Italian labor laws.
· Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating professional development workshops.
· Act as the HR lead in the absence of the Director, maintaining departmental standards.
Candidate Profile
· Experience: 3+ years in HR roles within the Luxury Hospitality sector.
· Education: Degree in HR Management, Psychology, or Hospitality Management.
· Languages: Fluency in English and Italian is essential.
· Personality: You are a "people person" by nature—approachable, empathetic, and possessing high emotional intelligence
· Mindset: A proactive problem-solver who understands that in a remote mountain location, staff welfare is the backbone of operational success.
