Keep reading! /p h3What You Will Do /h3 pAs an OST Manager, your main responsibilities will include: /p pbProject Execution Site Operations /b /p ul liPlan, coordinate and execute OST projects in line with customer requirements, contractual commitments, and internal delivery standards. /li liDefine execution schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion and high equipment utilization. /li liSupervise site activities and ensure compliance with technical procedures, safety standards, and customer expectations. /li liAct as the primary operational interface for customers and site teams during project execution. /li liManage unexpected issues and site constraints, ensuring rapid and effective problem‑solving to avoid downtime, cost overruns, or service disruption. /li liEnsure proper mobilization and demobilization of test systems, logistics, documentation, and site readiness. /li /ul pbResource Asset Management /b /p ul liPlan and coordinate the deployment of personnel, test systems, vehicles, and external service providers, where applicable. /li liOptimize asset utilization, reduce idle time, and maximize testing productivity across multiple sites. /li liEnsure field teams are technically prepared, properly equipped, and aligned with project‑specific requirements. /li liCoordinate maintenance needs and operational availability of testing assets in cooperation with relevant technical and support functions. /li /ul pbScheduling, Cost Performance Control /b /p ul liPrepare and maintain detailed project schedules, including dependencies, milestones, and critical path items. /li liTrack time, cost, margin, and operational performance for each job, implementing corrective actions where required. /li liSupport the budgeting process for the OST unit and take responsibility for achieving assigned financial and operational targets. /li liMaintain transparent reporting on workload, resource availability, equipment utilization, project risks, and delivery performance. /li /ul pbClient Interface Commercial Support /b /p ul liLiaise directly with customers to confirm execution schedules, coordinate site access, logistics, and readiness, and ensure satisfaction with service delivery. /li liManage claims, variations, deviations, and non‑conformities in close collaboration with Sales, Quality, and the relevant technical functions. /li liCooperate with Sales during the definition and operational assessment of complex quotations, including feasibility, resource needs, timing, and execution risks. /li /ul pbOperational Excellence Continuous Improvement /b /p ul liIdentify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and recurrent delays, and implement practical process improvements. /li liIntroduce, maintain, and continuously improve standardized site procedures, checklists, lessons learned, and delivery KPIs. /li liLead initiatives aimed at reducing setup time, improving test efficiency, strengthening safety performance, and enhancing reliability of results. /li /ul pbTeam Leadership /b /p ul liLead and motivate OST field teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, ownership, and result orientation. /li liEnsure personnel are trained, certified, and technically competent for their assigned duties. /li liConduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and capability development to strengthen operational excellence across locations. /li /ul pbQHSE Responsibility /b /p ul liEnsure full compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment requirements for all OST activities. /li liGuarantee that all work is executed in accordance with KEMA Labs standards, customer/site‑specific rules, and applicable regulations. /li liPromote a proactive safety culture, including preparation, toolbox talks, risk assessments, incident prevention, and timely escalation of issues. /li /ul h3What You Bring /h3 pbQualifications /b /p ul liBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline; Master's degree is a plus. /li li10+ years of proven experience in on‑site operations, commissioning, testing, or field service activities in the energy or power sector. /li liStrong background in project execution, scheduling, resource planning, and site management. /li liDemonstrated ability to manage multi‑site teams, resources, and assets in an international environment. /li liSolid knowledge of testing, commissioning, or diagnostics of high‑voltage equipment such as transformers, cables, GIS, or substations is strongly preferred. /li liExcellent organizational, problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills. /li /ul pbKey Competencies /b /p ul liStrong execution and delivery orientation. /li liExcellent planning, scheduling, and coordination capability. /li liAbility to manage trade‑offs between time, cost, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. /li liPragmatic, hands‑on approach with the ability to make timely decisions in the field. /li liHigh sense of ownership and accountability for results. /li liEffective communication with customers, engineers, field staff, and internal stakeholders. /li /ul pbAdditional Requirements /b /p ul liAvailability to travel frequently across Europe. /li liProven ability to lead multicultural and multi‑location teams. /li liFluency in English is required;
