As a Deep Water & Subsea Expert, you will be part of EniProgetti. Specifically, you will be part of the Deep Water & Subsea Engineering team, where you will support Eni's deepwater offshore projects worldwide. You will support all engineering activities related to subsea architecture development, interface definition, ensuring overall technical integrity, fluid deliverability, and subsea system operability. You will support the company team in the various project phases, from feasibility to basic design/FEED, and the execution phase of the numerous new initiatives underway within the Eni group.Main activities:
Study and optimize the development concept of subsea, deep-water and ultra-deep-water projects, defining the development scheme at system and component levelsReview and approve third-party contractor design and performance monitoring of deepwater systems, such as subsea production systems, pipelines, risers, and umbilicals, ensuring compliance with project objectives, industry standards, and best practices for safety, reliability, and cost.Assist the company in research and development initiatives, with a focus on optimizing the architecture for subsea field development and implementing new technologies such as subsea processingAssist the company in project development and coordination of subsea specialists during the feasibility, basic engineering/FEED and detailed engineering phasesPrepare documentation to support the tender phase for SPS, umbilical and flexible packages, selecting the best technical-economic solutions for the subsea system architecture and ensuring overall technical integrityAssist the company in defining and managing interfaces between different subsea systems work packages and in System Integration activitiesParticipate in the design review of subsea projects to ensure the performance, installability and operability of the systems themselvesUnderstand customer needs, identify and solve problems, propose, develop and implement solutionsEnsure design consistency, quality and cost-effectiveness, in accordance with international standards, project specifications, company guidelines and best engineering practicesTeamwork and collaboration with other colleagues in the DWS department, as well as with other disciplines, even during the project execution phase
Required characteristics:
Degree in an engineering field; other qualifications, even lower ones, may be taken into consideration following significant experience in the roleAt least 3 years' experience in similar rolesExperience in preparing and reviewing subsea system designs and other related documentation (e.g. specifications, SoW, procedures, reports, drawings, etc.)Experience in following up on the detailed engineering, fabrication, testing, installation and start-up of subsea production systems will be a significant advantage for this position.Knowledge and experience in construction and installation activities: FAT testing, integration testing, offshore installation supervision, plant construction, inspection, control and testing techniquesKnowledge of subsea industry standards, topside and subsea system interfaces, and experience in designing riser and flowline systemsBasic knowledge of process simulation, multiphase transport software, offshore structure design, geotechnical and geophysical surveysOptimal use of Office software (MS Office)Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and digital twinGood knowledge of the English languageAvailability for mobility
