Posizione: We are currently looking for a PROCUREMENT & SOURCING MANAGER - Apparel, Gloves, and Accessories to join our Sourcing, Purchasing, and Quality Department. In this role, you will create, own, and lead the Sourcing Strategy, working closely with internal cross-functional teams to manage external suppliers, costs, lead times, and planning strategies. You will leverage your technical product knowledge and market expertise to stay updated on industry changes. Main Responsibilities Utilize your extensive product knowledge to understand technical packs and cost sheets, sourcing the best materials within planned costs and diversifying sourcing strategies. Create and implement product sourcing strategies, identify new suppliers, and build strong relationships, negotiating costs, lead times, and planning to secure advantageous terms. Assess, manage, and mitigate risks in sourcing and procurement processes. Collaborate with R&D, purchasing, and technical teams to ensure clarity on product specifications. Review existing product styles with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing feasibility for bulk production. Participate in sample fittings with the industrialization team. Perform cost and scenario analysis, benchmark market trends, and stay informed about industry drives. Requisiti Minimum of 15 years’ experience in product development, sourcing, or procurement within the sportswear industry, with a strong understanding of technical products and sourcing processes. In-depth knowledge of technical products such as motorcycle gear, textiles, and production techniques. Experience in sourcing technical garments, developing supplier relationships, and handling complex negotiations across regions like the Far East, Asia, and the Mediterranean. Strong analytical skills, with experience managing costs and documentation. Willingness to travel for sourcing and sample development activities. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Fluency in English is mandatory.
