We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Infrastructure Manager to lead our Europe infrastructure team in our new IT Infrastructure Competency Center in Asti, Italy.
In this role, you will take on managerial responsibilities related to all infrastructure systems, leading a team of 10 across various European locations and supporting 14 sites within the scope.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing the Infrastructure Team in Europe, with oversight of Cybersecurity activities
* Defining, implementing, and supporting services and solutions for WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, Cloud Services (mainly Microsoft Azure), and cybersecurity at regional and site levels, aligning with company standards
* Defining and managing endpoint configurations, software deployment based on Microsoft Active Directory, SCCM, Intune, M365, EntraID, in coordination with the IT Operations Team
* Supporting and managing IT Security certifications (e.g., ISO 27001, TISAX) in coordination with other teams
* Maintaining business relationships with internal customers across divisions and locations in Europe
* Managing IT Infrastructure Operating Expenses and Capital Expenses
* Ensuring solutions and services meet business requirements with added value at competitive costs
* Managing mission-critical service levels provided by regional Data Center and Cloud Services operations, as well as critical service providers
* Maintaining Infrastructure hardware and software components with appropriate service contracts
* Providing technical solutions for procuring relevant infrastructure equipment in coordination with Supply Chain
* Aligning with cybersecurity standards within Europe and the Middle East scope
Our requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
* Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in similar roles within an industrial environment
* People management experience in an international, multicultural environment
* Project management experience, with skills in delivering infrastructure solutions using lean methodologies
* Strong understanding of business application needs (SLAs, criticality)
* Experience implementing centralized cloud architectures and rationalizing distributed infrastructure
* Proficient in English; basic Italian skills are a plus
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a hands-on approach
* Strong technical and analytical troubleshooting skills
* Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects simultaneously
