**Position**:
The Financial Statement Manager play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial reporting. In this leadership position, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating a team of accounting professionals focused on the preparation of statutory financial statements (Italian GAAP) and monthly reporting packages (IFRS). You will be a key contributor to the financial health and transparency of the organization. **Job responsibilities**: - Oversee general ledger accounting activities, including maintaining accurate records, processing routine and non-routine journal entries, and reconciling intercompany accounts.
- Collaborate with the Finance Governance and Transformation function to optimize, automate, and improve the efficiency of general accounting processes.
- Manage the intercompany reconciliation process with domestic and international subsidiaries, working closely with subsidiary finance departments.
- Analyze and review financial statement line items for Italian companies within the group.
- Define and implement accounting processes and procedures, and monitor business processes to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Prepare and finalize annual financial statements and related notes (in accordance with Italian GAAP), and prepare monthly IFRS reporting packages for Loro Piana SpA and its Italian subsidiaries.
- Calculate and manage the provision for income taxes.
- Manage legally required fiscal records (e.g., general ledger, VAT ledger, fixed asset register).
- Partner with the Tax function to support the preparation of tax returns (e.g., VAT, UNICO, Form 770, single certification, "spesometro," etc.). **Profile**: - Strong knowledge of OIC and IFRS accounting principles.
- Experience with SAP (HFM is a plus).
- Solid analytical skills for interpreting financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement).
- Experience as an auditor in a Big Four firm is considered a plus.
- Strong interest in utilizing systems, RPA, and AI in Finance Transformation processes.
