<p><span>Would you like to join a young, innovative, and rapidly growing company?</span></p><p><br></p><p><span>Bikeflip, the leading European marketplace for buying and selling bicycles, is looking for a </span><strong>Finance & Administration Specialist</strong><span> to join its Finance, Administration, and Controlling team.</span></p><p><br></p><p>We are seeking a precise, organized, and reliable person who can manage the company’s day-to-day administrative activities while supporting management in financial operations, planning, and business analysis.</p><p>This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in administration and accounting, who is curious, proactive, and interested in growing into more analytical and strategic responsibilities, such as management control, business planning, reporting, and investor-related documentation.</p><p><br></p><p>The successful candidate will work closely with management, external accountants, and consultants, with the goal of becoming a key internal reference for administrative and financial operations over time.</p><p><strong>Please note:</strong><span> this position does not include HR or personnel management responsibilities.</span></p><p><br></p><strong>Key Responsibilities<br></strong><p><span>The selected candidate will be responsible for:</span></p><ul><li><span>Managing the company’s accounting and day-to-day administrative activities</span></li><li><span>Reviewing, filing, and organizing administrative and accounting documentation</span></li><li><span>Handling administrative back-office tasks</span></li><li><span>Supporting accounting entries and the maintenance of general accounting records</span></li><li><span>Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable processes</span></li><li><span>Reviewing and processing supplier invoices and payments</span></li><li><span>Monitoring collections, payments, due dates, and cash flows</span></li><li><span>Performing bank reconciliations and reviewing accounting transactions</span></li><li><span>Acting as the operational point of contact with accountants, consultants, and suppliers</span></li><li><span>Supporting the preparation of internal financial statements and periodic financial reports</span></li><li><span>Assisting with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities</span></li><li><span>Supporting management control, cost analysis, and monitoring of key financial KPIs</span></li><li><span>Assisting in the preparation and updating of business plans and financial models</span></li><li><span>Supporting the preparation of documentation and materials for investors, banks, and external stakeholders</span></li><li><span>Contributing to the improvement and organization of internal administrative and financial processes</span></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Required Qualifications<br></strong><ul><li><span>Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field</span></li><li><span>Previous experience, even limited, in administration, accounting, or finance</span></li><li><span>Knowledge of general accounting principles and administrative procedures</span></li><li><span>Good proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets</span></li><li><span>Accuracy, reliability, and strong attention to detail</span></li><li><span>Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines</span></li><li><span>Analytical mindset and interest in financial management</span></li><li><span>Ability to work independently and interact effectively with external consultants and management</span></li><li><span>Good command of English</span></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br></strong><p><span>The following will be considered a plus:</span></p><ul><li><span>Previous experience in startups, digital businesses, or fast-growing environments</span></li><li><span>Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, or management control activities</span></li><li><span>Ability to analyze and interpret financial and economic data</span></li><li><span>Experience preparing reports, business plans, or investor presentations/documents</span></li><li><span>Knowledge of accounting software, ERP systems, or business intelligence tools</span></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Who We Are Looking For<br></strong><p><span>We are looking for a practical, organized, and proactive person who can manage daily administrative activities with precision while contributing to the company’s growth.</span></p><p><span>We are not seeking someone focused exclusively on bookkeeping or administrative support. Instead, we are looking for a professional who wants to grow in the fields of </span><strong>administration, finance, and controlling</strong><span>, working alongside management in financial planning, business monitoring, and company performance analysis.</span></p><p>Previous experience as a Finance Manager or CFO is not required.
