Role Overview
Based at our Milan headquarters near the Molino Dorino station, the Financial Controller will oversee financial control activities across all Group entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with internal controls and accounting principles, and supporting data‐driven decision‐making at the executive level.
Responsibilities
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements; ensure timely and accurate group‐level reporting.
Coordinate and consolidate annual budgets and periodic forecasts across business units.
Analyze financial performance and variances, providing actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.
Collaborate with executives to support long‐term planning and strategic decision‐making.
Ensure robust internal controls, financial processes and KPIs across the Group, integrating acquired subsidiaries.
Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Lead or contribute to cross‐functional projects, including ERP upgrades, automation and performance improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
4–6 years experience in management control or FP&A, ideally in international or multi‐entity environments; consulting experience a plus.
Strong grasp of accounting principles (IFRS and/or local GAAP); proven track record in group consolidation, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; hands‐on experience with ERP and reporting systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Power BI).
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics or related field; fluent in Italian and English.
Experience with capital markets, investor relations or M&A is an advantage.
