Role purpose: Accounts Payable Manager will be part of Operations department and he/she will look after payment transactions and the financial commitments of our company. He/she will have to coordinate the collaboration with Share Service Centers, to oversee lease accounting (IFRS16) and tax-related requirements, maintain spreadsheets and database of valuable information and uphold the company’s policies and image with vendors, therefore contributing to its growth. Key accountabilities and decision ownership: Account Payable Manager should be focused on optimizing department processes and building lasting relationships with Share Service Centers, within and outside of the business. He/she should be knowledgeable, analytical, and decisive with excellent leadership and communication skills. What is expected from the role - to manage and supervise the accounts payable department, share services and staff in the local organization. - to ensure the accounting processes, correct IFRS16 adoption, vendor and business relations and the adoption of best practices. - standardization and optimization of global invoice processing tools, processes and procedures - to lead projects related to continuous process improvement, technology upgrades, and process changes and acts as a project team member on a variety of other Procure to Pay initiatives. Core competencies, knowledge and experience: - Experience with leadership roles and display problem-solving capabilities. - Basic computer skills with prior experience working with accounting software like SAP. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees, superiors, and customers/vendors. - Strong analytical and time management skills. - Good presentation skills. - Well planned, organized with keen attention to detail - Project management skills Must have technical / professional qualifications: - Five or more years of accounting experience - Knowledge of lease accounting (IFRS16) and fiscal requirements of Account payable process Studies: - A bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance - Italian, Fluent English
