Lead Teacher - Onsite from Andalucia, Syros, Kotor, Sintra or Tuscany
For one of our clients, we are looking for a Lead Teacher, remotely from Europe.
The Lead Teacher will play a crucial role in creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment for students. This position involves facilitating personalized learning experiences, guiding interdisciplinary lessons, and fostering a sense of curiosity and exploration. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for ensuring student well-being, collaborating with educational teams, and leveraging technology to enhance learning outcomes. Through innovative teaching methods and a commitment to holistic education, this role supports students in their academic, social, and emotional development.
Accountabilities:
* Ensure the duty of care for all children, fostering a safe and nurturing learning environment
* Cultivate a strong sense of community and belonging among students
* Foster holistic well-being, encompassing physical, social, and emotional health
* Plan and implement interdisciplinary lessons incorporating local experiences and real-world connections
* Guide children along personalized learning pathways, monitoring progress and providing feedback
* Utilize educational technology to enhance learning and engagement
* Maintain ongoing communication with parents through regular updates and progress reports
* Lead student conferences and collect data for progress tracking and assessment
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Education or a related field
* Minimum of three years of full-time classroom experience
* Experience with inquiry-based educational programs and collaborative teaching environments
* Familiarity with culturally and linguistically diverse learners
* Special needs expertise is a plus
* Strong knowledge of child safety, psychological needs, and research-supported instructional techniques
* Ability to design and manage engaging learning experiences
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
* Problem-solving mindset with adaptability to work in dynamic educational settings
