Every day, more than 80 000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day operations, overseeing the operations team and department to ensure train availability and reliability, focusing railway safety- Ensure organizational processes comply with regulations and standards Alstom.- Uphold health and safety guidelines and enforce compliance (AZDP)- Improve Develop and implement operational policies and procedures for efficient operations.- Enhance systems, processes, and best practices.- Oversee staffing plans, recruitment, and training.- Handle budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation to meet strategic goals.- Monitors employee and team performance, offering coaching, training, and feedback for improvement.- Collaborate cross-departmentally to align operations with organizational objectives.- Implement quality assurance measures for products/services and monitor production and contractula KPIs.- Enhance customer service quality and satisfaction- Work with all team member to identify process improvement opportunities and cost savings, to ensure respect of hard inventory budget, improve maintenance cost, sales, and ppi- Optimize workflows and processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.- Monitor maintenance processes to ensure high-quality-safety maintenance- Report on operational efficiency and quality standards.- Foster innovation and productivity through effective communication.- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.- Maintain service operations to ensure sustainability.- Develop conflict-resolution programs and lead conflict-management practicesEducational Requirements- Degree in Engineering or a similar university DegreeDesired Knowledge / Experience- Technical experience and expertise in mechanical and electrical infrastructure maintenance techniques and principals- Good knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and automation equipments- Strong EHS knowledge, local legislation and environmental standards- Languages : good knowledge of English (written & spoken)- Previous experience as a maintenance Engineer or similar role in industrial setting (5 years)- Good knowledge of AutoCAD for design and layout purposes or similar- Good verbal and written communication skills- IT skills – competent user of Personal Computer, includin g office packages, e-mail and intranetYou don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
