How does the application process work?
* you complete the application on the website arkage.careers (don’t forget to submit your myers-briggs profile and to attach your portfolio );
* you’ve got mail: we get back to you via email to arrange a first interview (usually within 1 week);
* first touch: an interviewwith Simona, People Care team manager, and with one person closest to your job position to assess your professional skills;
* team touch base: a second with the Servant Leader and/or Product Owner of your candidate team to assess your attitude and your compatibility with the team;
* almost done! we will discuss budgets and you will get a final interview with our CFO;
* welcome on board! Now an onboarding process begins.
At any stage of the selection process, if something does not go as intended, we will send you an email explaining the reasons within 30 days from the first application. If it happens, don’t worry! We periodically reopen the positions and if you are already in our DB you have more chances to join our ark in the future.

Arkage is looking for a UI/UX Designer (Milan), is that you?
What you do on a daily basis
* Design and optimize customer experiences across digital touchpoints, focusing on improving key business KPIs.
* Map and analyze complex customer journeys, identifying high-impact friction points and opportunities.
* Work closely with product owners, performance marketers, and CRM teams to co-design features and flows.
* Support your design choices with clear rationale and performance data (e.g. “Simplifying this step reduces drop-off by 18%”).
* Integrate into agile processes using collaborative tools like Figma, Jira, Miro.
* Lead or contribute to UX research activities (usability testing, surveys, heatmaps, session recordings).
* Collaborate in both Italian and English, depending on the team or stakeholder involved.
Who you are
* You’re a Senior UX/UI Designer with a strategic mindset and strong business orientation. You know how to create digital experiences that not only look good, but drive results—like increasing conversion rates, improving post-purchase engagement, and reducing bounce/drop-off rates.
* You’re used to working in complex, cross-functional environments, collaborating with marketing, product, and CRM teams. You’re confident working in English and are comfortable interacting with international stakeholders from Canada, the US, Australia, and New Zealand.
* You bring a data-informed approach to design, leveraging both quantitative (analytics, A/B tests, heatmaps) and qualitative (user interviews, feedback, usability tests) inputs. Your proposals are always backed by clear insights, not assumptions.
Nice to have
* Previous experience with international eCommerce platforms .
* Familiarity with the eyewear or health-related sectors (contacts, prescription glasses, sunglasses).
* Experience in A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) .
* Hands-on familiarity with tools for behavioral research such as eye-tracking or session replay platforms.
* A strong portfolio demonstrating data-driven design decisions and business impact.
* Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
