DEVOPS ENGINEER
Job Overview
We are looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer to develop and maintain our deployment infrastructure and automation framework in our ICs Engineering team in Modena, currently focused on the development of our IC software solutions and tools.
You will have the opportunity to be involved in the build and deployment of services and tools for internal departments and external customers.
You will play a key role in the lifecycle of the developed services and tools.
You will work in a dynamic, proactive, and young team within the IC Engineering Department.
Main Responsibilities:
* Linux-based server maintenance
* Workflow maintenance
* Create complex pipelines for several needs
* Manage deployment cycle of web applications
Be involved in:
* Support and cooperation with other Eggtronic teams and departments during their automation and deployment phases
Reports To
The DevOps Engineer will report directly to the Head of IC Engineering Team.
Qualifications and Background
* Specialized and Technical Knowledge
o Good knowledge and hands-on experience in scripting (shell/python), automation, DevOps tools, and methodologies
o Basic knowledge and some working experience in
+ Build Automation Engine: Gitlab
+ Version Control Systems: Git, Gitlab SCM, Branching strategy
+ Dependency and Package management tools: Pip, apt, rpm, etc.
+ Build systems: Make, CMake
+ OS: Windows, Linux
o Define architecture, QA strategy, documentation for the automation framework developed.
o Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools.

Must have:
* Python / Bash
* Docker
* Git
* CI / CD
Nice to have:
* Preferred Experience
* Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
* Good knowledge of English
* 0 to 4 years of software engineering or software development experience
