PpbReliability Engineer /b /p pFalconara Marittima, Italy /p pFull-time /p pEUR 45000 to EUR 52000 / monthly /p h3Job Description /h3 pAs a Reliability Engineer specialized in mechanical seals and sealing systems, focusing on improving equipment performance, reducing failures, and optimizing lifecycle costs. /p pWorks on-site at a customer facility(s), directly coordinates, schedules and participates in work with the customer to comply with the “partnership agreement.” /p pTravel as required to perform duties and work directly with customers. /p pTroubleshoots by investigating problems related to product performance and application specific criteria. Makes complex and independent seal and equipment evaluations, selections and recommendations. /p ul liReviews customer applications and makes specific recommendations. /li liTroubleshoots specific customer applications and analyzes, evaluates, and rectifies seal operation problems and failures. /li liImproves MTBR and reduces material costs. /li liReduces inventory by establishing standards for reduction, minimizing variances found in the physical inventory and optimizing inventory levels. /li liCommunicates orally and in writing with customers, company personnel, and vendors providing counseling, recommendations, and technical assistance. /li liMay include making both technical and commercial presentations to customers or management. /li liProvides training to customer staff aligned with Reliability objectives. /li liUndertakes regular Plant surveys. /li liAssists and directs development of customer seal standardization programs. /li liAlso, assist developing inventory management programs that are to be implemented by customers. /li liSolves problems on existing installations pro-actively. /li liNegotiates with customers and sales personnel regarding material changes or modifications of customer equipment, seal, or auxiliary equipment. /li liHelp customers find and define productivity improvements obtained through seal and System upgrades. /li liApproves overall seal and component part design and materials, proposals, layouts, installation, assembly and detail drawings. /li liPrepares reports and recommendations to management and assist in development and management of partnership programs. /li liDevise and recommend new approaches to problems encountered in assignments. /li liRecommends new standards and procedures on design and manufacture of seal components. /li liObserves and reports field performance results; collects and evaluates data customers, while working with local John Crane office and sales representative. /li liResponsible for customer relationships, and the successful and mutually beneficial, profitable, implementation of partnership agreement. /li liProvides feedback between the company and customer to ensure a positive, effective relationship. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liRecent college graduate to career level professional /li liMechanical engineering, trouble shooting /li liCustomer facing, technical professional providing counsel to engineering professionals on John Crane services and products which will increase the reliability of the customers facilities. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
