PbSenior Electrical Project Engineer - Layout E-BoP Designer /b /p ul liLocation(s): Rome, 62, IT, 00192 /li /ul pRWE Renewables Italia S.r.l. /p pTo start as soon as possible, full time, permanent /p pbFunctional area: Engineering /b /p pAs an Electrical Senior Project Engineer Onshore, you will provide electrical engineering support to our renewable onshore energy projects in Southern Europe, focusing on farm/plant layout and electrical balance of plant (E-BoP) design. /p pbYour Tasks /b /p ol liServe as the point of contact and take technical responsibility for electrical engineering during project development, construction, and operation, including: /li liPreparing, reviewing, and aligning concept/early engineering of E-BoP for onshore assets, with support from external providers as needed. /li liPreparing and reviewing execution E-BoP designs, reports, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements. /li liSupporting regulatory planning and administrative filings such as environmental and building permits. /li liDeveloping RFPs for engineering work, evaluating submissions, and making selection recommendations. /li liSupporting tendering, negotiations, and procurement for E-BoP. /li liInteracting with external consultants and reviewing contractor design documents for consistency. /li liSupporting grid connection processes, organizing technical documentation, test reports, and certifications. /li liManaging electrical works on-site, including site management of electrical units for wind, PV, battery plants, and substations. /li liParticipating in factory and site acceptance tests. /li liCollaborating with the Construction Manager on E-BoP contracting and construction planning, including site visits when necessary. /li liMaintaining as-built drawings and documentation. /li liSupporting technical due diligence for project mergers acquisitions, analyzing simulation results, reviewing designs, and proposing decisions. /li liIdentifying new market opportunities for electrical engineering contractors, leading benchmarking and prequalification processes. /li liEnhancing specifications and designs based on operational feedback, and harmonizing solutions with local requirements. /li liCollaborating with development and construction teams, and within the global electrical engineering community. /li /ol pbYour Profile /b /p ol liDegree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. /li liKnowledge of Italian standards and experience with grid operators regarding market grid connection processes. /li liExperience with electrical design, construction, and operation of wind farm electrical components (MV and HV). /li liExperience in onshore wind farm design and optimization, including infrastructure, logistics, and interconnection. /li liProficiency in Power Factory software. /li liExperience with tenders, project review, and QA/QC procedures. /li liUnderstanding of power system analysis, contract management, and technical claims. /li liAbility to work in international and virtual teams. /li liValid driver’s license and willingness to travel domestically and internationally. /li liFluent in English and Italian; additional languages like Spanish or German are beneficial. /li liStrong social skills, high engagement, and intercultural awareness. /li liHigh ethical standards aligned with RWE Renewables’ values and conduct. /li /ol pApply with ad code 90410 by 15/08/2025. /p pbQuestions?
