Role Purpose
You’ll be part of a collaborative and cross‑functional team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites across the Timeneye platform—including the web app, browser extensions, and integrations.
Your work will directly impact software quality, regression coverage, and release confidence, enabling faster and safer product delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for frontend, backend, and full‑stack scenarios
* Build and expand a comprehensive automated regression test suite
* Collaborate with developers to ensure testable code, proper test coverage, and quality standards
* Integrate automated tests into GitLab pipelines for continuous validation and deployment
* Identify reliability, performance, and security gaps through automated testing
* Analyze test results, report defects, and ensure issues are reproducible and well‑documented
* Stay up‑to‑date with industry best practices in test automation, tools, and methodologies
* Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions on quality improvements
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
* At least 5 years of experience in QA automation for web applications
* Strong experience in test automation frameworks, with PHPUnit and Laravel for backend testing
* Proven track record of building extensive automated test suites for web applications
* Solid knowledge of CI/CD workflows, particularly GitLab pipelines, and integrating automated tests into deployment processes
* Familiarity with backend and frontend technologies (PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, Vue.js, REST APIs) to design effective tests
* Experience with data‑driven testing, mocking, and test environment management
* Strong knowledge of software quality principles, regression testing, and defect management
* Solid Git knowledge and collaborative workflows (branching, PR reviews, CI/CD integration)
* English proficiency at B2 level or higher (spoken and written)
Nice-to-Have Skills
* Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6)
* Familiarity with containerized development environments (Docker)
* Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and CDN‑based frontend deployments
* Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and integration testing
* Understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices
