Job Scope
The person holding this position is part of the IT team that globally supports applications and IT tasks related to Diasorin's Manufacturing and Execution area.
He/She partners with various functions in the organization by collaborating to define the best solutions aligning technology context and business strategies.
Applies proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve systems issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Partner with functional stakeholders to translate business needs in technical requirements.
Identify issues, evaluate business drivers and document requirements.
Drive SW Benchmark and Design Phases, ensuring consistency with the technological scenario and IT strategies.
Understand the technical component of application implementation.
Plan and oversee the adoption and post go-live project phases.
Provide accountability for the applications throughout its entire life cycle.
Participate in the definition and execution of strategic application roadmap.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and staff, ensuring smooth and efficient IT operations.
Document IT processes, operations, and configuration details for user training and disaster recovery purposes.
Optimize support of IT technologies ensuring successful execution of business processes.
Work collaboratively with team members to establish best practices within IT applications team.
Work independently and own the tasks assigned.
Leverage continuous improvement mindset to identify process and technical improvements.
Stay updated with the latest IT trends and technologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or related technological field or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years IT experience in business analysis or similar role.
Medical Device industry experience preferred.
Desired experience working in LIMS platforms (Labware preferred).
Desired experience working in an IT Service Management environment.
Ability to document requirements, understand business requirements to technical requirements, map solution, create test scripts, testing and document results.
Ability to work in global community and eager to learn new skills.
Basic software programming skills (SQL, HTML, C) and ability to learn a developing language for LIMS platform (Laboratory Information Management System) in the diagnostic-pharmaceutical field.
Proficiency in MS Office products.
Any knowledge of MES (Manufacturing Execution System) or LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System), IT infrastructure management and system integration is considered a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences (English language is mandatory).
Ability to work with limited supervision and able to make decisions in performing daily tasks.
Ability to travel occasionally (Europe and North America)
Brilliant English required (C1 or C2 preferred).
Italian mandatory at an intermediate level.
