With annual revenue over $24 billion and more than 90,000 colleagues in 130 countries, Marsh helps build the confidence to thrive through the power of perspective. /p pFor more information, visit oliverwyman.com, or follow us on LinkedIn and X. /p h3The Opportunity: /h3 pAs an Assistant Human Capital Manager, you will be part of the HC Operations team that deliver proactive and business focused HC advice and services for the South East Europe. /p pThis is a hybrid role that requires your presence in the Milan office 60% of the time. /p h3Key Responsibilities for Italy and Greece: /h3 h3Employee Relations, Engagement and Communications /h3 ul liHandle and resolve employee relations issues, escalating issues to Leadership when required /li liProvide guidance to employees and managers on issues relating to performance, fairness, and culture /li liSupport initiatives aimed to build and maintain a strong office community in an inclusive environment /li liCreate and distribute employee communications as required /li /ul h3Program Administration; Policy and Procedure Implementation /h3 ul liEnsure uniform and equitable application of policies and procedures /li liProvide guidance and answer questions on policy interpretation /li liSupport internal and external audits /li liProcess employee transactions (hires, terms, payroll changes, position changes, department changes, LOAs) for Workday updates via Employee Transaction Tool (ET) /li liSupport budgeting efforts and function invoice tracking /li liManage time off reporting, policies, service awards /li /ul h3Pre-Hire, Orientation, Training and Exits /h3 ul liOversight of the hire, onboarding and exit processes, in collaboration with the HC Coordinator /li /ul h3Payroll and Benefits Oversight /h3 ul liPoint of contact for payroll and benefit operations and queries, in coordination with the external provider and internal interfaces /li liSupport the HCM in handling insurance and benefits programs /li liOversight Funds, Pension and Insurances payments, liaising with Finance /li /ul h3Talent Acquisition and Retention for Support Professionals (SPs) /h3 ul liSupport SP hiring managers and SPTM in understanding job requirements of open roles /li /ul h3Other Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport Independent Contractor process (approvals, agreements, payments) /li liMaintain a continue dialogue with Finance /li liParticipate in ad hoc Global HC Ops projects /li liProvide relevant HC input to local Leadership to guarantee a consistent treatment of OW different population (Consulting, Specialist, SP, Actuarial) /li /ul h3Experience required: /h3 ul liBachelor’s or Master’s degree with 5+ years of human resources generalist experience required, preferably in a professional services environment in Italy, experience with Greece would be a nice plus /li liLeadership experience would be a plus - leading projects and/or teams, facilitating discussions, mentoring more junior HR colleagues, and advocating for policy or other initiatives /li /ul h3Skills and Attributes: /h3 ul liFluent written and oral English and Italian; working knowledge of Greek nice to have /li liCurrent knowledge of employment law and practices in Italy, Greece would be a nice plus /li liDriven to provide a high level of service in a fast-paced environment /li liCan work effectively, autonomously and in a team environment /li liCurious, creative, strategic forward thinker, who continually seeks ways to improve the way things are done /li liExtra-mile attitude, team player, ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the firm /li liAble to be productive, flexible and to simultaneously manage multiple project priorities in a fast pace, performance-driven environment /li liAvailability to travel for training or upon business needs /li liProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Word and Excel, Power Point and Workday a plus /li /ul h3We offer: /h3 ul liFriendly and flexible workplace /li liOpportunity for professional growth and access to mentors and training /li liCompetitive salary package /li liCorporate culture that supports work-life balance /li liStimulating, international environment, rich of social events and gathering /li liCharity/volunteering days initiatives /li liFresh fruits, beverages and snacks in the office /li liPrivate healthcare, sport card, meal vouchers, life insurance, savings plan /li /ul h3Why Join Us? /h3 pAt Oliver Wyman, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
