Senior Process Engineer for fume treatment plant
We are looking for a qualified professional willing to be part of our Environmental Technologies Team, with strong passion for technology and motivation to work within a multicultural and challenging environment. You will work in an international Company characterized by high technology complexity. In this role, you will actively take care about Projects Process choices in put the technical office with the best engineering solution to final supply, enhancing the process in order to add value and saving costs or simplifying the process.
You will carry out the following activities:
* Process design of the fume treatment system for Meltshops: Process Flow Diagram, P&I, Interlocking Matrix, Functional Description
* Customer follow up: Training, Standard Operation Practice, Monitor the Process parameters and optimization;
* Project set up, cold testing, commissioning and performances, partial erection advisor activities;
* Define the technical choices concerning the process to acquire the quality/cost level compatible with project requirements;
* Conduct inspections and assessments of plant and equipment on Site;
* Feedback headquarter with on-site lesson learned;
* Prepare the process specifications and the most appropriate sizing of the system components;
* Manage the technical documentation of the process, revising and commenting the offers and suppliers documents;
* Take an active role in process innovation by seeking new technologies and development of existing applications;
* Maintain, review and improve industry standards, systems, procedures and best practices;
* Provide process engineering input to marketing and proposals, in order to give technical assistance to support Business Development Strategies;
* Provide process information, such as basic design calculations, process-engineering input.
Required profile:
* Master's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical Engineering specialization in: Advanced Material and Manufacturing is an added value);
* 3+ years of experience in Steel Industry;
* Dedusting system Knowledge;
* Ability to communicate with customers from plant operators to general managers;
* Ability to organize and manage site activities;
* Ability to understand and deliver piping and instrumentations diagrams;
* Knowledge of engineering calculations techniques;
* Competence in using simulation software and others methodologies;
* Willingness to team working;
* Effective knowledge of English language;
* Willingness to travel;
* Optional: Knowledge of the most advanced PC tools (as CRM and/or ERP).
