Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.
Role purpose:
The role is responsible for the functional support of S/4Hana business application together to deliver functional solutions in projects. The major purpose of the role is to serve locations running S/4 as their ERP platform.
Responsibilities:
1. Issue resolution on incidents and problems for the live units in S/4Hana in scope for SAP Services
2. Service and change requests management
3. Ensure stable business process continuation and improvements
4. Works on larger, moderately complex projects/ assignments
5. Participates in code reviews and works with developers, consultants and architects to ensure requirements are met.
6. Functional solution delivery in SAP projects
7. Ensure that tickets assigned to her/him are followed up, tracked and delivered according to the SLA
8. End to end accountable for the tickets assigned to him/her and managed to be delivered on the best quality and timely manner
9. Dedicated and high focused business support during period end closing and critical business activities like shipping, manufacturing, etc.
10. Provides appropriate solutions upon Business Area requirements
11. Design, configure, test and train business solutions in collaboration with solution/architect team
12. Participate in hyper care and take over location support from project team
13. Provides application maintenance, 2nd and 3rd level production support services toward the supported live locations (customers) globally, according to the SLA’s agreed
14. Proactive system improvement proposals and initiatives
15. Preventive business process support
16. Works closely with business support departments to translate business requirements into feasible solutions
17. Close working relationship with technical, solution delivery, architect, analytics, basis and authorization teams all involved in the different business support processes
18. Understand and work according to the transport and release management process
19. Come up continuously with business and process related improvement ideas
20. Provide and maintain process documentations like problem, incident and change management
21. Work according to the best practises for support
22. Perform daily tasks in the global ticketing system
23. International travel required occasionally based on need
Requirements:
24. Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in a comparable role within SAP (ECC6 / S4 Hana) with hands-on application management or project organization.
25. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
26. IT /Business Degree or Equivalent
27. SAP certification is preferred
28. In depth understanding of the business processes related to the SAP applications.
29. Expert SAP knowledge with configuration and trouble shooting skills
30. Fluency in English (verbal and written)
31. SAP implementation and post live support experience in multinational environment
